HEALTH BRAINTRUST TOWNHALL
“MY MENTAL HEALTH: BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS TO CARE”
 
WHAT:  This year the National Urban League Washington Bureau and the Washington Bureau’s Urban Solutions Council in cooperation with the Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust will host a townhall discussion on breaking down the barriers to receipt of mental health care.  In a two-part panel discussion, individuals will share their personal stories about managing and promoting their mental health. And in addition, mental health experts will discuss stigmas associated with mental health in communities of color and share treatment options that are available.
