The House of Representatives passed the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) on July 9, 2014 with a strong bipartisan vote of 415 to 6. The House vote followed approval of the bill in the Senate (95 to 3) in late June of this year. The bill was signed into law by the President on July 22, 2014.
